Idlewild Burg.(“Idlewild Burg.” or “we”) is concerned with respecting and safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to all employees, suppliers, partners, and customers, with the objective of providing the guidelines defined and applied by the company in the treatment of your personal information. This Policy covers all collection and/or processing of personal information through various channels, such as websites, applications, social networks, events, and internal management systems, including the processing of data provided by partners, clients and suppliers for the provision of translation and management services projects. Account Login Information: Any information required to provide access to a specific account profile for use of our services. Examples include email address, username, password in unrecoverable format, and/or security question and answer, among others.

2.1. Purpose of the Processing of Personal Data

The Processing of your Personal Data may be carried out by Idlewild Burg with your consent, where applicable, in various means, by legal, regulatory, contractual obligation or in other ways. Idlewild Burg may ask you to provide your consent in writing, or by any means that confirms it, whenever required.

Your Personal Data is collected to enable and/or improve the provision of the language services for which Idlewild Burg has been contracted, as well as to:

Identification and/or provision of relevant content about a certain preference and/or interest expressed by you to Idlewild Burg, including, without limitation, newsletters, events, invitations, reminders, thank you notes, among others;
Carrying out relationship and customer service activities;
Composition of Idlewild Burg’s supplier and service provider database;

For the cases not foreseen above in which it is necessary to share Personal Data, the Personal Data Subject will be asked for their express authorization (consent) by sending a notification with information about the sharing.

In all cases, Idlewild Burg undertakes to share only the Personal Data that is necessary to fulfill the respective purpose or to comply with the respective specific order, as the case may be.

International Data Transfer

The international transfer of your personal data may be carried out by Korn Translations in the following situations:

Technological Infrastructure: For the use of cloud storage services (SaaS), email servers and corporate management platforms hosted in datacenters located abroad (e.g., the United States and the European Union);
Contractual Performance: For the fulfillment of obligations established in contracts signed with customers or business partners located outside the national territory.

In such cases, the Idlewild Burg assures that it will only hire third parties that meet the highest security standards and apply at least the same level of compliance with the LGPD, observing international regulations such as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) for data transfer to Europe, and ensuring the protection of data transferred to Europe.
